What do parents and students think of St. Augustine's?
As a working mom who does not have the option to volunteer during the week, by being involved in the parish I can still feel very connected. Attending mass on Sundays also allows me to make important connections with my daughter’s classmates and their families, teachers and administrators.

I love that families that are there share a sense of faith and values - we have come to this Catholic school because we are seeking a faith based education. We are confident that the values that we hold are being instilled and nurtured in our children.

I like SAS for the computer games, the games at gym, the nice people & the library with interesting books. I like pajama day, crazy hat day and I like that the principal gives us goodies for our birthday.

It's like a Big Family—where everyone accepts you.

I love that SAS is a community where every child is known - the benefit of a small community where children and their families can become very involved in both school & parish activities.

I love that the children are exposed to and get to know priests and religious - they have a prominent and constant presence in our children's lives.

I love the volunteerism at SAS - family members who consistently go above & beyond for the school and the parish.

Whenever money is tight (more often than I'd like to admit) and I wrestle with the expense of a Catholic education, I remember that my kids are reminded about Jesus' presence in their life and are encouraged to pray every single day at school. Faith in God -- something we live at home is as natural to them as day -- at school. Many times classmates request prayers for a friend or family member. Kids pray for one another.

The 9 years at St. Augustine’s will leave us with many 'Happy Memories.” We highly recommend this school to incoming students.

I love the teachers - they are clearly teaching in the school as an act of love - salaries are much more attractive in the public school yet these folks have opted to stay in the Catholic school system.

When the kids are in the Jr. High, they in the care of with the same group of teachers, who watch over them and get to know them well, for 3 years. In a volatile, changing world, they have the stability of a group of caring teachers who really go out of their way for their students.

I love Leone (school secretary), she knows each child and makes each child feel special when they are in the office for whatever their purpose.
